Information you provide: - Email address - WhatsApp number - Listing details (item, category, condition, description, pricing) - Your location/area in Bali - Gear origin (the country your gear is coming from — "Gear Passport") - Photos you choose to share for a listing
Information collected automatically: - Basic device and browser information - IP address - Pages visited on the pricing tool
We use your information to: - Run the PassOn relay service (pricing your gear, connecting you to buyers) - Send your listing to our vetted buyer network - Contact you via WhatsApp to relay your gear and request photos - Send you our newsletter ("The Relay") if you subscribe - Respond to your questions and support requests - Build anonymized market price data to improve our pricing tool - Prevent fraud and keep the platform safe
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may share your information: - With buyers — only as needed to complete a relay (e.g. your WhatsApp number is shared after both parties commit to a deal, with your awareness) - With service providers who help us operate — including Supabase (database), Cloudflare (hosting), Brevo (newsletter email), Google Sheets (our internal tracker), and Telegram (where listings are relayed to our buyer network) - With law enforcement if required by Indonesian law
When your listing is relayed to our buyer network (via our private Telegram channel), it may include your item, photos, area, gear origin, and price — but not your contact details, which are only shared once a deal is committed.
Your WhatsApp number is the core of how PassOn works. It is: - Used by us (Mancis) to contact you about your listing and request photos - Shared with a buyer only once both sides commit to a deal - Stored securely in our system - Never sold or used for unsolicited marketing
Photos you share for a listing may be displayed to our buyer network to facilitate a relay. By sharing photos, you confirm you have the right to use and share them.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email to send periodic gear drops and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. We use Brevo to manage and send these emails.
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us via the details below.
PassOn's pricing tool uses minimal essential cookies and local browser storage only to keep the tool working during your session. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
PassOn is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
